The buyer path

Eight steps, one deal page

From the offering page to monthly reporting. A tracker on every deal shows where you are and the one thing it needs next; interest is not a commitment, the letter of intent is.

What you get

Decide with your own numbers

Before you commit, see the price, the yield, the total return at your price and what the pool does to your institution.

  1. 01

See what a pool does to your balance sheet before you buy

For supported pools and institutions, model the effect using your institution’s available call report: the change in your capital ratio, your annual net interest income and your economic value of equity at +200bp. Credit unions and banks each get their own vocabulary and tax treatment.

  2. 02

Priced with institutional analytics, loan by loan

Explore the same analytics engines the trading desk uses: cashflows for every loan, yield and WAL, option-adjusted spread on a Hull-White rate model, seven rate scenarios from -300 to +300bp, CECL, and total return over one, three and five years.

  3. 03

Carve a pool to fit your book

Choose a goal and supported buy-box constraints to model a selection at published offering terms. Review feasibility and your institution’s policy and regulatory requirements before proceeding.

  4. 04

One page from first look to monthly remittance

The offering, the NDA, the data room, diligence requests, closing review and the monthly remittance report all live on the same deal page, with a tracker that shows where the trade stands and the one thing it needs next.

Data room security

How a data room protects your documents

Every statement below is enforced in the platform, and each one is checked against the code that enforces it before it is shown here.

  • Private by default

Documents live in private storage that no link reaches directly. Every table behind a data room enforces row-level security, and the public API key can read none of it. Nothing is served to search engines or shared referrers.

  • Access is granted to a named person, and can be taken back

The desk grants each prospect their own invitation, with an expiry date, optional folder restrictions and single-use links when needed. Access can be revoked at any time, and a revoked or expired invitation opens nothing.

  • Invitation links are stored hashed

The invitation token is kept only as a hash, so a copy of the database does not yield a working link. Each request is checked against the invitation, its expiry, its revocation and the room it is bound to.

  • The NDA comes before the documents

Confidential documents open only after the NDA for that exact invitation is accepted, and the acceptance is recorded as evidence: who, when, from which address and browser. Where the desk requires it, the NDA is signed and countersigned before the room opens.

  • Every document link expires in 60 seconds

A viewer or download link is minted for one request and expires a minute later, after every access check has passed. Downloads can be switched off per document, so a view-only file stays view-only.

  • Every file is scanned and fingerprinted on the way in

Each upload is checked for active content before anyone can open it; enforcement is set so that a file downloads only once it has scanned clean. Every file carries its SHA-256 fingerprint, so what a buyer downloads can be proven to be what the seller delivered.

  • Every view and download is on the record

Registrations, NDA acceptances, document views, viewing time, downloads, questions and bids are written to an append-only activity log. The desk can see who looked at what and when; nothing in that log can be edited after the fact.

  • Registration is throttled and never proves more than it should

Public registration requires a name, title, company and a work email, and is limited to ten attempts per address per hour. A registration is a request for the desk to follow up, not a grant of access.

  • Encrypted in transit, on encrypted storage

The site is served only over TLS with HSTS preloading, never embedded in another site, and the storage behind the rooms encrypts data at rest.
